In Lamu town there is an abundance of old decorated doors and they enchanted me! I could have spent days exploring the narrow streets taking pictures of the doors. I love the decrepit wood mixed with the bright peeling paint colors... and I am reminded of India.
My real passion is taking pictures of people but my good camera stopped working upon arrival in Kenya so the doors were a good distraction and seemed to still have a nice enough resolution with my basic camera.
