Tumaini Children's Home
It was a wonderful space with great energy and I could tell the kids and the staff were truly a family. An inspiring woman named Eunice had always dreamed of starting an orphanage, but she never thought she would have the funding or that it could possibly become a reality. She was born in Kenya and then moved to the US for a period of time where she became involved with a church group. Once they asked her what she wanted to do more than anything it became clear what she was meant to do. With the support of her church and many people she returned to Kenya to start the Children's Home in 2004.
